It's great to look back on old photos but sometimes they've deteriorated so much. Here's just a few restoration jobs which show how good even poor and damaged photos can look with a little TLC.
This is a school photo from 1968. It was quite brittle and needed careful cleaning even before scanning. Uneven exposure in the original was corrected and dust and scratches removed. Can you spot me? The image below is reduced in size for the web, but the finished work has been printed at exactly the original size of over 40 inches wide and 8 inches tall (over 1020mm wide, 200mm tall).
